Weekend Chef/Cook – Part Time

Our client requires an experienced cook/chef to work in busy coffee shop kitchen.  This is small kitchen and not a high pressure environment. Our client is keen to stress that they have a very friendly and flexible close knit team, so are therefore seeking the same like minded person.

The role will involve preparing meals from fresh ingredients and creating daily specials.

Not only will you be preparing the food there will also be some customer serving involved.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy kitchen and is capable of preparing food from fresh ingredients.

This is very much a hands on roll and you will be expected to prepare ingredients and take on board any adhoc duties in the coffee shop and the shop as required.

This is a very friendly environment and the small team are very flexible and not “jobsworth” all helping out as and when needed.

Our client is seeking someone who is passionate about local fresh food, who is confident and capable of talking to customers about recipes and where the ingredients.

Hours of Work:

Coffee Shop opening hours Friday & Saturday 9-5pm and Sunday 10-4pm

Salary

£7.00 - £10.00 per hour depending on experience.
